Meet the Doctors – Glenbrook Family Dental and Greenbrook Dental

Dr. Yoonjung Kim DDS

Dr. Yoonjung Kim’s philosophy of care is to provide high-quality dentistry, incorporating the latest dental technology in a friendly comfortable environment. She is gentle and caring. Dr. Kim likes to treat her patients as she likes to be treated.

She is married and has 2 beautiful girls, Ashley and Claire. In her spare time, She enjoys golfing, skiing, and bicycling with her family.

The three sisters and a brother come from a long family line of dentists. They have uncle, cousins, and not to mention her daughter who is currently attending GPPA dental program at University Illinois at Chicago.

Dr. Najung Kim DDS

Dr. Najung Kim enjoys working with patients of all ages and has a lot of experience working with the little kids. Dr. Kim is known to be an approachable person who loves what she does and always does everything with a smile. Dr. Kim is very excited to meet you at our Glenview and Hanover Park offices, and as always if you have any questions she will surely answer them with a smile.

When Dr. Kim isn’t in her office she enjoys eating out, catching a movie and bowling with her family and friends. Maybe you’ll see her out and about eating at her favorite restaurant or even playing a few games of bowling.

Dr. Hojung Kim DDS

Born in Seoul Korea, Dr. Hojung Kim moved to the States at the age of 16, settling in Northern Illinois.

She spent her four years of undergrad at the University Illinois at Chicago, graduating with a Bachelor’s in Art and Design. After few years of working as a graphic designer, she decided to pursue her career in dentistry and entered Southern Illinois University and earned her DMD. She continued her education at Progressive Orthodontic Seminars and received 2 years of orthodontic training certification.

Dr. Hojung’s goal is to be an empathetic, kind, and gentle dentist. She loves to work with children.

Dr. Hojung’s second passion after dentistry is still art and design. She is happily married to her artistic husband and both love hunting treasures at flea markets, traveling, biking, and exploring nature.

Dr. Ashley Choi DDS

Dr. Ashley Choi grew up in Northbrook, Illinois, and is a graduate of the University of Illinois Chicago College of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. She also earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from UIC. Her path to dentistry began early, when she was accepted into UIC’s Guaranteed Professional Program in Dentistry in 2019, giving her a guaranteed pathway to dental school.

Dr. Choi is passionate about providing comprehensive, patient-centered care and building lasting relationships with her patients. She believes every patient deserves to feel heard, comfortable, and confident in their dental care. She is committed to continuing education and staying current with advances in dentistry to provide thoughtful, evidence-based treatment tailored to each patient’s individual needs. She is currently pursuing continuing education in implant and digital dentistry through Harvard School of Dental Medicine.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Choi enjoys golfing, skiing, traveling, and exploring new restaurants and coffee shops around Chicago. She loves spending time with family and friends and is often kept busy by her 90-pound puppy, Theo. She is always looking for her next adventure and is excited to meet her patients, get to know them, and help them feel comfortable and confident throughout their dental experience.
